One channel video installation
Two players take each other’s measure in an endless, heated match. The men, engaged in their power struggle, are completely oblivious to a naked women lying in the middle of the table replacing the net. As the ball flies back and forth across the table, it leaves red marks as it hits the woman’s body. She lays motionless as she is assaulted over and over. The viewer watches this repeated act of violence, is confronted by it, but rendered powerless. Who is playing and who is being played?
