Two channel video installation
The installation presents 52 guaranteed ways to maintain the love of your woman. As a foreign man whose natural charm always draws women, I put together tips for Finnish men to help them develop skills to seduce and conquer women. Two video are projected on two surfaces of a wooden wall situated diagonally in the middle of the gallery space. The first video is a pulsing, animated red heart on hot pink background, with the title orbiting around it. In the second video, I sit in front of a pink background and explain the 52 guaranteed tips. The crawling text at the bottom of the screen: focuses on the tips as I diverge from the text while speaking, helps people who cannot understand my “foreign” accent; and graphically signifies the “breaking news” quality of my advise.
